mk3 gti misfire

my bros mk3 gti 8v is misfiring / juddering he has changed the fuel filter and still does it can any1 help it will do it wenever no same moment cheers

Cleaning out the throttle body works wonders on them! and also change the ECU relay i think can help it too.

im guessing u've already tried the easy things like plugs and leads??

when we went to sort it we stood and had a fag and the number 3 ht lead kept poping of causing this misfire so replaced the ht and works fine now. how lucky was that .
